Concentration: Choral Conducting 1

Students will perform music of diverse genres appropriate to the primary performance medium, in solo, chamber, and large ensemble settings, with technique, artistry, and literature appropriate for the major and level.

Students will demonstrate musical literacy and a thorough understanding of the common elements of music through analysis of written works, dictation of auditory examples, and the ability to generate original musical ideas.
